Kuznetsova Irina Borisova, born 28 January 1965, in the city of Kostroma, Kostroma Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from Kostroma Agricultural Institute (at the present time – Kostroma State Agricultural Academy), Faculty of Agronomy (at the present time – Faculty of Agricultural Business), with a specialty in Agronomy, qualification Agronomist, in the city of Kostroma, Soviet Union (1987). PhD studies in Horticulture at Research Zonal Institute of Horticulture Non-Black Earth Zone (at the present time – Federal Scientific Breeding-Technological Center for Horticulture and Farming), in the city of Moscow, Soviet Union (1990). Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (PhD) in Fruit Growing (1991). PhD thesis: «Produktivnost’ Nasazhdeniy Yabloni na Semennom Podvoe v Zavisimosti ot Plotnosti Posadki i Sposobov Obrezki Derev’ev v Usloviyakh Nechernozemnoy Zony RSFSR» (Productivity of Apple Tree Plantations on a Seed Rootstock Depending on Planting Density and Tree Pruning Methods in the Conditions of Non-Chernozem Zone of the RSFSR), Moscow, Res. Zonal Inst. Horticulture Non-Black Earth Zone, 1991 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Entomology, Phytopathology and Fruit-Vegetable Growing (at the present time – Department of Agrochemistry, Biology and Plant Protection, Faculty of Agricultural Business, Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, in the settlement of Karavaevo, Kostromskoy District, Kostroma Oblast, Russia (1994-present). Specialist in agricultural biotechnology, agricultural meteorology, fruit growing, and biological methods of plant protection. Author and co-author of more than 80 scientific publications, including textbooks, guidelines and laboratory tutorials.
