Mironov Gennadiy Semenovich, born 27 October, 1949, in the village of Buzykanovo, Tayshetsky District, Irkutsk Oblast, Soviet Union (since 1992 – Russia). Graduated from the Order of the Red Banner of Labour Sib. Inst. Technol. (SibIT) (in 1997 SibIT renaimed to Sib. St. Univ. Technol. (SibSUT), in 2016 SibSUT affiliated to Reshetnev Sib. St. Univ. Sci. Technol.), Faculty of Forest Engineering, with a specialty in Forest Engineering, qualification Engineer-Technologist, in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Soviet Union (1973). Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD) in Technology and Machinery of Forestry and Logging (1986). PhD thesis: «Intensifikatsiya Protsessa Raskryazhevki Khlystov na Sleshernoy Ustanovke» (Intensification of the Process of Bucking Whips on Continuous Slasher), Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast, Moscow Inst. For. Technol. (MIFT) (in 1993 MIFT renaimed to Moscow St. For. Univ. (MSFU), in 2016 MSFU reorganized to Mytyschi Branch of Bauman Moscow St. Tech. Univ.), 1986 (in Russian). Associate Professor for the Department of Logging Technology and Equipment (1987-2018), Associate Professor for the Department of Automobiles and Transport-Technological Machines (2018-present), Inst. For. Technol., Reshetnev Sib. St. Univ. Sci. Technol., in the city of Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Specialist in technology and equipment of logging and lower timber stocks, complex wood utilization, energy wood bioconversion. Research interests in ecology of forest management, wood utilization and bioconversion, popularization of scientific and technical knowledge. Research results are used in lecture courses in forest universities. Author and co-author of more than 560 scientific and popular-scientific publications, including 12 monographs and 11 patents for an invention of the Russian Federation.
